Delta Air Lines is extending its flight cancellations between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) in Tel Aviv, Israel through November 21 as the conflict in Israel and Gaza continues.

As of November 1, bookings through Delta for Tel Aviv to and from Atlanta and Boston airports are canceled indefinitely. Impacted customers will be notified through the Fly Delta app and their contact information.

Seats on Delta partner airlines remain available to book.

Travelers who booked a flight to or from Tel Aviv before October 11, 2023 can rebook their travel on available flights through September 6, 2024, with Delta’s travel waiver. They can also choose to request a refund instead.

“Delta is continuously monitoring the rapidly evolving security environment and assessing our operations based on security guidance and intelligence reports, including the most recent U.S. State Department travel advisory,” said the advisory on Delta’s website.

“While we remain committed to assisting those needing travel, Delta will continue making schedule adjustments, including additional cancellations on a rolling basis, as needed for the safety of our customers and crew.”

Delta donated $1 million in funds to the American Red Cross for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to help Israelis and Palestinians during the conflict.

The U.S. State Department issued an updated travel advisory in late October, encouraging travelers to reconsider visiting Israel.
