The New Orleans Summer Travel Advisor FAM is still available for qualified travel advisors this summer, with more than 20 hotels across the Big Easy offering rates as low as $69 per night.

While there are plenty of reasons why travel advisors should take advantage of the FAM rates this summer, we’ve curated a list of the three biggest reasons advisors should register for the discounts.

“Summer is a wonderful time to experience New Orleans and our city’s authentic cuisine, attractions and live music,” says Kim Priez, senior vice president of tourism at New Orleans & Company. “Experience the classic, historic New Orleans, while also getting a taste of the spectacular new attractions, hotels and trendy spots the city offers today.”

Experience Hotels

Besides the discounted rates, many of the participating hotels include packages with discounted parking, free Wi-Fi and discounts at the hotel’s bars. Travel advisors can check out popular pre- and post-cruise hotels, hotels in the heart of the city’s history and everything in between with this year’s selection of participating properties.

Restaurant Week

New Orleans is known for its foodie delights, and summer offers some of the best culinary offerings around. June is when the city’s Restaurant Week begins, but it doesn’t stop there: August is when world-renowned NOLA restaurants enjoy the annual COOLinary events, which include prix-fixe lunch, dinner and brunch menu options you won’t find the rest of the year.

The Advisor-Specific VIP Pass

Advisors who register to participate in New Orleans’ Travel Advisor Summer FAM can also request a VIP Pass, which offers travel professionals exclusive discounts and rates for restaurants, museums and other important attractions the city has to offer.

Interested travel advisors should register on New Orleans’ travel website, or contact Rachel Funel, Tourism Sales Senior Account Executive at rfunel@neworleans.com
